**Padrino's Bass Tab Exclusive!**
There is not much bass in this song. During all the long parts with just
drums and guitar screech noises, the bass player sometimes hits a random note.
Its usually open E or A. When the vocals/rhythm guitar come in every now and
then, you play one of these two riffs, they change on and off.
Riff 1:
G|——————————||——————————||——————————|
D|——————————||——————————||————4—————|
A|—5——4——2——||—5——4——2——||—5—————2——|
E|——————————||——————————||——————————|
Riff 2:
G———5———5———4———4————
D————————————————————
A—3———3———2———2———0~—
E————————————————————
The live version of this song (the only one i've heard) sounds like it has
a distorted bass, and maybe another affect only used in some spots.

Sub Bass Correction Notes:
I only changed riff 1. it was previously this:
G——————————
D——————————
A—3~—2~—0~—
E——————————
but it didn't sound right to me when I played along and there was a
variation that was played the third time the riff comes in that wasn't
mentioned. I'm not doing bad for only being a few months into music.
let me know if there are any mistakes. ;)
so there you have it. Thanks go out to Rattman for getting it started.
Staatliches Bauhaus (help·info), was a school in Germany that combined crafts and the fine arts, and was famous for the approach to design that it publicized and taught. It operated from 1919 to 1933. The term Bauhaus (help·info) is German for ("House of Building" or "Building School").
Bass tablature (tabs) is an easy way to learn songs without needing to read traditional sheet music. Here’s a quick guide to understanding the symbols and techniques commonly found in tabs:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:
Numbers on the lines indicate which fret to press. For example:
G|-------------------| D|-------------------| A|---3---------------| E|-------------------|
This means you play the 3rd fret on the A string.
Play the first note by picking it, then press down on a higher fret with another finger without picking again.
G|-------------------| D|-------5h7---------|
Pluck a note and then "pull off" your finger to let a lower fret ring.
G|-------------------| D|-------7p5---------|
Move your finger up (/) or down (\) the fretboard while maintaining pressure.
G|-------------------| D|-------5/7---------|
G|-------7b9---------|
G|-------7~----------|
Tabs don’t always indicate timing, so listen to the song while reading the tab. Wider spaces between numbers mean longer pauses, while closer numbers indicate quicker notes.
Tabs are a great tool to learn songs, but mastering the techniques takes practice. Listen carefully to the original track and play along to lock in the rhythm. Don’t rush — smooth, accurate playing is more important than speed. Happy jamming! 🎸
