Title: Whats My Age Again?
Artist: Blink 182
Album: Enema of the State
Bassist: Mark Hoppus
Tabbed by: John McElyea
Yes, I realize this has been done several times before and that
there are several versions on this site. However, none of them
were perfect. This one has all the right rhythms/measure spacing,
every single note was double—checked and played along with
to make sure it was absolutely correct, and the order and number
of times each section is played is flawless. Its such a fun son,
enjoy. =)

This is a fun song to play along to the CD or with a band. Its pretty
easy, straightforward and fast.
Just for fun, here is the intro guitar riff. You have to be able
to tap and play finger—style to play it. *Notethis is not played
on the bass in the song*
T=tap with the right hand (or the left hand if you play left—handed)
B=pluck/play note with the thumb

Lyrics:
I took her out,
It was a Friday night.
i walk alone
To get the feeling right.
We started making out,
And she took off my pants,
But then I turned on the T.V.
And thats about the time she walked away from me.
Nobody likes you when your twenty—three.
And I should more of missed my T.V. shows
What the hell is A.D.D.?
My friends say I should act my age,
Whats my age again?
Whats my age again?
And later on,
On the drive home.
I called her mom,
From a pay phone.
I said I was the cops,
And your husbands in jail.
The state looks down on sodomy,
And thats about the time that bitch hung up on me.
Nobody likes you when your twenty—three.
And I shall more of make these prank phone calls.
What the hell is call I.D.?
My friends say I should act my age.
Whats my age again?
Whats my age again?
And thats about the time she walked away from me.
Nobody likes you when your twenty—three.
And you still act like your in freshman year.
What the hell is wrong with me?
My friends say I should act my age.
Whats my age again?
Thats about the time that she broke up with me.
Noone should take themselves so seriously.
With many years I've had to fall in line.
Why would you wish that on me?
I never want to act my age.
Whats my age again?
Whats my age again?

Bass tablature (tabs) is an easy way to learn songs without needing to read traditional sheet music. Here’s a quick guide to understanding the symbols and techniques commonly found in tabs:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:
Numbers on the lines indicate which fret to press. For example:
G|-------------------| D|-------------------| A|---3---------------| E|-------------------|
This means you play the 3rd fret on the A string.
Play the first note by picking it, then press down on a higher fret with another finger without picking again.
G|-------------------| D|-------5h7---------|
Pluck a note and then "pull off" your finger to let a lower fret ring.
G|-------------------| D|-------7p5---------|
Move your finger up (/) or down (\) the fretboard while maintaining pressure.
G|-------------------| D|-------5/7---------|
G|-------7b9---------|
G|-------7~----------|
Tabs don’t always indicate timing, so listen to the song while reading the tab. Wider spaces between numbers mean longer pauses, while closer numbers indicate quicker notes.
Tabs are a great tool to learn songs, but mastering the techniques takes practice. Listen carefully to the original track and play along to lock in the rhythm. Don’t rush — smooth, accurate playing is more important than speed. Happy jamming! 🎸

Most of the ones on here have the F# starting on the chorus @2nd fret, E string…If you listen to the song, its obviously an octave higher.
