Sorceress is an amazing jazz song by Return to Forever with a fantastic bass line by Stanley 
Clarke. This is my first attempt at tabbing a song, so if you find any errors please let 
me know.

There is a synthesizer playing with the bass during most of the riffs in this song and 
so if you hear something that sounds like slapping and popping, I believe that is what 
it is. At any rate, I have indicated where slapping and popping would occur if you choose 
to do it yourself. Also, if you want to simulate synthesizer sounds I recommend using 
a pedal like Bassballs or something.

How to Read Bass Tabs

Bass tablature (tabs) is an easy way to learn songs without needing to read traditional sheet music. Here’s a quick guide to understanding the symbols and techniques commonly found in tabs:

1. The Basics

Strings and Frets:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:
- The top line is the highest-pitched string (G on a 4-string bass).
