TUNING is D,E,D,G ;you don't have to tune the 2nd string if you dont want but if you happen 
to hit it accidentally it will sound bad.

Turn down all the high in the equalizer and the low up to full. For distorion pedal turn 
the tone to 3/4 and the distortion to just below full.

IF the notes are in ( ) the you should put you wrist on the very bottom of the string, hold 
the pick perpendicular to the string (like a plus sign (+)) and hit the string going down 
and up very fast as indicated by the music.

Strings and Frets:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:

5. Slap and Pop

Slap (s): Strike the string with the side of your thumb for a percussive sound.
Pop (p): Pull the string away from the fretboard and let it snap back.
