For those of you who aren't very good at tuning, here's an easy way of getting an FCGD. 
First of all, make your 
E strings 7th note sound like an open A, then tune down the A string (open/0) sound like 
a 5 on the string you tuned before
 hand. Next, tune your D string (open/0) down to sound like 5 on the string you just tuned. 
Then finally an open G string
 (haha), tune it down to sound like a 5 on the string you just tuned.

This will make your strings tuned as follows:

1. The Basics

Strings and Frets:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:

5. Slap and Pop

Slap (s): Strike the string with the side of your thumb for a percussive sound.
Pop (p): Pull the string away from the fretboard and let it snap back.
