End Comments: That's it. That's the whole song. I'm 98.8% sure it's right but
if you find anything different from a reliable source send it to me at my sh*ty
e—mail address [email protected]. By the way if you were going to send me
corrections on my previous KoRn — "Here To Stay" tab don't because I already
see the mistakes and I'll make corrections as soon as the tab is posted then
I'm sure it'll be 100% correct (it was my first tab, you understand). By the
way if anyone has them e—mail me the definitions for a Hammer—on, a Pull—off,
a Muted note, and a Dead note so I can include in my following tabs.
Key:
s = slapped note(strike string with right thumb)
p = popped note(pluck string with right finger)
/ or = slide up or down(when holding note drag finger up or down to the fret
indicated)
> or < = bend up or down(when holding note pull towards or away from you)
: = hold note(hold note for an usually long length or until next note)
~ = vibrato(move between fret indicated and the next lowest fret)
() = ???(example: (11) this would be an eleven not two 1's)
— = sixteenth rest(half of an eighth rest)
—— = eighth rest(half of a quarter note)
———— = quarter rest(one beat of a measure in 4/4)
———————— = half rest(two beats of a measure in 4/4; half of a measure in 4/4)
———————————————— = whole rest(four beats in a measure in 4/4; a whole measure in 4/4)
| = ???(end of a riff NOT a measure)
NOTE: If anyone knows what the definitions for a Hammer—on, a Pull—off, a Muted
note, and a Dead note are please send them to me as soon as possible so I can
include them in the key for my following tabs or in any of my corrections on my
previous tabs.
Powerman 5000 (sometimes abbreviated to PM5K) is an American rock band formed in 1991. Through the span of nearly two decades, the group has released several albums and gained their highest commercial success with 1999's science fiction themed Tonight the Stars Revolt!. Frontman Spider One is also the younger brother of Rob Zombie, and their styles have often been a source for comparison. He is also the founder and only original member.
Bass tablature (tabs) is an easy way to learn songs without needing to read traditional sheet music. Here’s a quick guide to understanding the symbols and techniques commonly found in tabs:
Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:
Numbers on the lines indicate which fret to press. For example:
G|-------------------|
D|-------------------|
A|---3---------------|
E|-------------------|
This means you play the 3rd fret on the A string.
Play the first note by picking it, then press down on a higher fret with another finger without picking again.
G|-------------------|
D|-------5h7---------|
Pluck a note and then "pull off" your finger to let a lower fret ring.
G|-------------------|
D|-------7p5---------|
Move your finger up (/) or down (\) the fretboard while maintaining pressure.
G|-------------------|
D|-------5/7---------|
G|-------7b9---------|
G|-------7~----------|
Tabs don’t always indicate timing, so listen to the song while reading the tab. Wider spaces between numbers mean longer pauses, while closer numbers indicate quicker notes.
Tabs are a great tool to learn songs, but mastering the techniques takes practice. Listen carefully to the original track and play along to lock in the rhythm. Don’t rush — smooth, accurate playing is more important than speed. Happy jamming! 🎸
