Rise Against is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1999. The band currently consists of Tim McIlrath (vocals, guitar), Zach Blair (guitar, vocals), Joe Principe (bass guitar, vocals) and Brandon Barnes (drums, percussion).
