and to replicate the sliding sound on the recording.

Sigur Rós (English pronunciation: /?s???r ?r?s/, Icelandic: [?s????r ?rou?s]( listen)) is an Icelandic post-rock band with melodic, classical, and minimalist elements. The band is known for its ethereal sound and lead singer Jónsi Birgisson's falsetto voice.
