In order to tune to "drop C", simply tune your lowest string to match the same pitch
as the 3rd fret of the A string. To make sure you have the correct pitch, try playing
the octave harmonic (lightly touch the 12th fret on the drop C string and pluck the
string, make sure it's the same as the 3rd fret of the A string).
The "f" symbol means to immediately mute with left hand after sounding.

Bass tablature (tabs) is an easy way to learn songs without needing to read traditional sheet music. Here’s a quick guide to understanding the symbols and techniques commonly found in tabs:

  • Strings and Frets:
