playing bass is cool because nobody else-especially not other girls- can shake the freakin bleachers when they are turned up loud!!! look out boys im comin through!
if you do it right you can countour a song or add a different flavor to it. guitarist need to play metal style guitar to do a metal song. as a bassist i can play funk classical whatever and total reshape the whole vibe.
It's cool to play bass because bands fight over having you play. Plus there are a bunch of sick bass parts in songs like “For whom the bell tolls” and “Seven nation army”.
It's sounds good, it looks good, if you play it right!

Seven nation army actually uses a semi-acoustic guitar through a DigiTech Whammy pedal set down an octave for that.
Also I suck at everything else!
Watching Peter Hook play bass is so cool so I had to try it for myself.
Thick bass strings are way better than those guitar strings
because i like groove and rhythm in a song….playing bass is cool,period
