I am trying to find a band (or bands) with highly atmospheric tones and powerful aggressive riffs. I would prefer them to not be screamo or demonic or anything like that. A good example of what I mean by powerful riff is Flying Whales by Gojira. The riff starts at 2 minutes 30 seconds. The intro is what I mean by atmospheric. It sounds like the notes are resounding throughout the depths of the ocean. They are a bit too screamo though. Any suggestions?
