I'm in the situation of choosing what bass to invest in. I currently have a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz, and I'm ready to make a jump to a new bass. What would be the physical and sound difference between the two basses in the topic?
In a situation such as yours, it all boils down to personal preference. It's your ears, and your feel of the guitar that will tell you right away what you want. Go with what feels and sounds right for you and, you only. As Bassist, in a way we are the same. But we all have mixed opinions of what is better or not.
