What did you think of ZZ Top in the 80's with their change in direction Jay?
If I compare their early 70's work with their later work, I basically still hear the same band. I think the creation of a new image, along with a firmer sound was a good thing for the band. They finally set their new image with their 1983 album Eliminator.

I have to say i loved the 80's update, that's what got me to listen to them & then i worked through their back catalogue. I'm not a huge fan but i appreciate their musicianship and their humour. Those 80's videos are classics.
So yesterday the big day had come. I wasn't there. Tuesday evening I got very sick. Probably an infection caused by horse flies. I've been running to the bathroom for over 48 hours. I couldn't even walk straight. DARN!
