If you listen carefully to each live version, he doesn't play it exactly as per the original….he plays it about 90% the same but not exact.

I gave it a listen. I think he's actually playing this on a 5-string, but I don't have a 5-string so I've tabbed the higher octave 4-string equivalent instead. This is what I'm hearing:

But I only spent a few minutes on it. I could be wrong (but I don't think I am

It's not John Taylor on bass - credits are to Warren Cuccurullo (also on guitar), although I've heard other studio musicians associated with the bass work on Pop Trash.
Their 2 weakest albums (in my opinion) - Medazzaland and Pop Trash - are without JT on bass. I don't think that's a coincidence.
(Edit - just checked and JT is credited as the bassist for some of the songs on Medazzaland - not ironically the good ones)
