Coat your fingertip with clear nail varnish or superglue before you play?.?.?
Something like that which will give you some distance between skin and string..

They're really nasty.
I suspect that Superglue or nail varnish might be so shiny as to prevent full purchase on a string. However - nothing ventured - -

Somebody told me ages ago that Eddie Van Halen used to superglue his fingertips before concerts, never tried it myself but it is supposed to work.
You ladies should get into the building game and get yourselves some man callouses
