Duped Fender / Squire
I took the blindfold test yesterday. The two basses were a 1975 Fender Jazz and a Squier James Johnston J bass. Same amp same settings same everything. Think you could tell the difference ? I couldn't and picked the wrong bass 3 times when asked which one was the 75. Doing an Epi Gibson this weekend
I took the blindfolded test last week, one was the AMG Mercedes, the other was the BMW M5, when I get out of hospital they said I can try the BMW but I think I'll give it a miss
You play bass like you drive ?

Let us know how you got on
but somethings going on with epiphones pricing
£400 for the Tbird pro which was £250 when I bought mine 3 years ago ,that kind of increase doesn't make any sense

Aye, driving basslines. Not sure if everyone missed the blindfolded driving test joke but there you go

I prefer walking basslines, as I get some exercise along with them.

I drive like I play bass
Back on topic, a few months ago I played a few P-Basses at a music store. Some were Fenders, some were Squiers. One of the Squiers definitely was the winner.
