Does anyone know if Peter Hook plays with a pick (I think so) or fingers, or both? Did anyone who has seen him play live (especially when in Joy Division and New Order) note whether he used a pick?
Also, you'll want a chorus pedal if want to get a sound like his.

That gets you about half way through the song. The rest is instrumental and uses a chorus pedal. I'll try to finish this up soon. You'll note that this song requires a 5 string bass, or serious (beyond what's really workable? ) drop tuning on your 4 string; or perhaps an octave pedal.
