The world famous drummer of Rush has died of brain cancer. He was the only drummer to whose solos I liked to listen. Another of my heros has left the world stage.

O.K. That sucks. I am Canadian. Rush and The Tragically Hip are two very special bands too us. Neil Peart will be missed and Gord Downie already is. RIP. Fly from here to a better place…
not a rush fan in any way shape or form, but as a musician he was up there with the best. hearing of anyone passing is always sad, but these days 67 seems way too young. hopefully he is now at peace and out of pain.

The Eddie Van Halen of drumming. Definitely one of the greats. RIP, Neil.

It wasn't just his drumming, but his songwriting was also amazing.

That's the problem with us humans. We don't live very long. And some are taken way before they should be. Play until you drop is what I say ! When I die I am taking my favorite bass with me. Its not going to a pawn shop after I am gone. I need it in the better place…
When I die, I'll take my cheapest bass, so my guitar playing son can have the more expensive basses.
