Really bad fret buzz on just d string
Hello
I have really bad fret buzz between about the 9th fret to the 20th fret where most of the time the notes dont properly ring out. I got my bass set a few months ago so possibly it has to do with change of season and the about 5 month old strings. I am getting new strings soon but I im not sure if this problem will resolve that easily lol.
i had the same problem even though my bass was set up a few months back. it's either the strings or you need to higher or lower your action on the d string until the buzz stops
hopefully this helps if you haven't fixed it lmao.

Thats exactly what I was going to say. Take the proper wrench and lift up your saddle on the D string. Or lower it. Most times that will fix it…
put your fingers closer to the frets, worked for me
From the 9th fret on, looks to me like there may be too much neck relief and not enough action, provided the fretwork is okay.
