I was messing around and tapping on my bass, when i played something that sounds super familiar. the tabs are

A|–7—–|
E|5——-|
I would appreciate if someone could tell me if this is a song. Thanks!

You have however inspired me to correct the forum and add this little “tabs” button so that the tabs can be nicely formatted:
Tabs:
G|----8/12|
D|--------|
A|--7-----|
E|5-------|
Oh - the tabs tags can be accessed by clicking the final button on the toolbar.
Oh thanks! I was wondering why it looked so weird. And no, I haven't figured it out yet.
played it over 50 times and i cant figure it out. personally it sounds bad.
Just played it on the bass and the slide bit reminds me on ‘No Shelter’ by RATM but thee ‘A’&'E' ???
im gonna go out on a limb and say ‘that was just your life’ by metallica….the intro sounds something like that
To be honest, I've heard alot, but I haven't heard that. And that's good. Steven Tyler said in his book that when he makes a song that sounds like he's heard it before, but he hasn't, he says those are the popular songs that every one likes
