Anyone else feel like ultimate guitar is f***ked
So a couple days ago I made an account on Ultimate a Guitar and I had FIVE tabs denied because people said my songs weren't complete. The same songs are on here and they got approved. Apparently my Antichrist Superstar wasn't approved because there's already another like it. Well mine is still a little different. And if I must add the people on there are just rude and hateful. People on here are actually helpful. I appreciate that
I gave up on UG when my tabs kept getting denied due to formatting – which was weird, because it was the exact same formatting I used in the few tabs they DID approve.
I like this joint better.
LoudLon I agree so much! They approved one of them, my Down New Orleans Is A Dying Whore one which is like my others. I hate that place
i never really used UG, but i hear their community is impressively large. but, as with all huge communities, you get a different, less personal vibe… and of course the occasional asshole.
that said, we're glad you like this place! bring your friends!

Also I gave up on UG after I found this site.
I quite like the UG site but I do hear people have lots of problems with it when submitting tabs. This site is better but UG is useful.
ultimate guitar is a pretty cool site in my opinion. I'm pretty sure they get loads of submission every day as they're the most popular tab site on the web. Why I think Big Bass Tabs is better for bassists is because it's only about bass.
Ultimate Guitar? Never again! The reason I left them and joined this amazing bassist community is this: I submitted my version of a song (Happy Birthday by The Birthday Massacre) and it took over two weeks to approve. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE this band. I am very passionate about tabbing their songs and I want other fans to be able to play them. There was no way that I was going to wait two weeks for approval everytime I submitted a tab. I have not submitted a single one of my tabs there since, nor will I. I look there for tabs you can't find here, but other than that it's done for in my book. VIVA LE BIG BASS TABS!!
I posted a few tabs they DIDNT have and they said there were too many like it…
