How many bands don't have a bassist?
Quote:
The only band I know of is Device. Saw them live with Korn and Love and Death. Even though they ain't got a bassist, Device was probably better than Korn
It's David Draiman, of course its better than Korn.
Dethklok is another one. They have a hire on bassist for tours.

Hahahahaha true true! Device over Disturbed though. And so Dethklok does have a bassist technically. If we're not being technical then NIN has nothing but vocals

The White Stripes.
I forgot about them!! They're a good band; I've always liked them.
The White Stripes are excellent!
For me the best of the bassless bands & already mentioned are The Doors! What a sound!!!
I Love The Doors! Great songs, great sound!
The Cure once did a song, way back before the sold out, which had two basses and no guitar, can't remember what it was called tho but I can see them playing it on Top of the Pops

I like the 60's as much as I like the 80's & The Doors are up there as one of my faves!
Yeah, Ray Manzarek's Basslines were spot on, simple but effective
