It did. Axl added it to the album which was not wanted by the other members. At the end of the song Axl says “thanks, Chas” which I don't suppose went down too well.

There is a band back in the 90's that I really like called Mansun. They were originally called Manson for one release. They were advised to change their name!

I knew, I actually have listened to his music, some of it is ok, I like the songs red snake and hobo's lament.
but much of it was not so great or just okayish .
I read a book by Colin Wilson and he said there had never been any musician serial killers as they had an outlet through their music..
