Note— It is important to know Justin’s setup before you attempt this song. No amateur bassist will
be able to pull this song off sounding like JC unless you have 2 amps. Throughout the song Justin is
always running both amps. One is running clean with his effects pedals and another back in the mix running
in the back with gain/dirty setting either using his ProCo TurboRat with an EQ..
The distortion you hear in the beginning is a stomp box, but even when it is
off for other parts of the song you will hear the grit throughout the song. Good luck! =)
Another small note is that Justin’s flanger and delay are next to each other on the pedal board making it easy
for him to trigger them both simultaneously. Good luck playing this song if your board is any different. =)

Ok note here. The delay here will deceive your ears. Justin is not playing
as many notes as you may think and I have verified this through
some live videos. It is all about the right delay setting. If you have
a boss delay here are the settings (DD—5...but should be ok for DD3 too).

You can see his general hand positions and hear what he is doing in this video.
For this part Justin is using his Guyatone BR—2 Autowah. When there is a "*" notation
you will hear a "woooo" noise on the album. That is done by Justin quickly engaging the
sutowah on and off for that particular note. He does this live as well and it is very audible.
