Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit (pronounced as "ex-hib-it"), is an American rapper, actor, and television personality. He is also known for hosting MTV's Pimp My Ride. He released a new album every two years from his 1996 debut At the Speed of Life until his most recent Full Circle which was released in October 2006. He was also a member of the Rollin 20 Crips along with Nate Dogg, Warren G and Snoop Dogg

1. The Basics

• Strings and Frets:

  Each line in a tab represents a string on your bass:

  Numbers on the lines indicate which fret to press. For example:

• Slap (s): Strike the string with the side of your thumb for a percussive sound.
• Pop (p): Pull the string away from the fretboard and let it snap back.
