Matt Freeman,James Jamerson, Andy Rourke and Carlos Dengler
all great players.

I love Timmy Cs style, he is a great player but not flashy
And Andy Rourke is my favourite bass player, that's him on my profile pic. When he joined The Smiths he had a Squier P Bass which he continued to use. He bought another two Squier Precisions as back ups and he recorded the first 3 albums with them, in the picture he is playing his 1964 Fender P Bass

i feel like johnny marr and andy rourke were just the perfect duo.
morrissey and mike joyce are solid.
but my favorite part of the smiths is the way the guitar and bass lock in with each other.

Respect and Recognition. I might have gone maybe too far by calling Led Zep shit, they are a band with real music, at least it is better than all the ‘'porn in reverse type music’' that we hear too much today. But I still think they are overrated.

And there is one thing I'd like to add, Alphonso Johnson he is also kind of an ‘'unheard off’' I think it's appropriate to mention him here, great bass player, one of the best.
