On bass I usually play something fast and simple like Hell Awaits by Slayer and on guitar I warmup with either Master of Puppets by Metallica or 1,000 Times Goodbye by Megadeth. What's your go to song(s)?
i usually play the intro piano part to a thousand miles by vanessa carlton on bass.

The Ruts Babylons Burning or The Anti Nowhere Leagues We Are The League more than most
A couple of simple ditties for getting tuned up and getting the fingers going

Speaking of punk, what're some good punk songs that aren't extremely horrible to play. Like I get sick of playing simple chords or root notes constantly over and over again. I love the Ramones and Misfits, but their stuff is all so simple a monkey could do it and it just loves its fun. Suggestions?

For bass: Nirvana as some stuff on the punk side
Guitar: Black Flag
money by pink floyd, it's a really memorable bass line
Stray cat strut, then into rock this town by The Stray cats.

Green Day has some fun bass lines; check out Basket Case, She, When I Come Around. Also Rollins Band; his stuff has routinely wicked bass lines. Try Tearing and You Didn't Need from The End of Silence (I tabbed You Didn't Need, if you find yourself interested), Liar and Disconnect from Weight. Pretty much anything from that band, really.
