Jay, when you were a kid and you bought albums, did you throw the sleeves away?
Nope! Some sleeves were on display in my bedroom.

As explained before, the textile sleeves are in the wardrobe and that's where they stay.

Do they have Velcro for when it gets a bit nippy

Nope! The last time I saw them they were firmly attached.

Ok, but what about a chord so they can be raised and lowered like a blind?
Quite elaborate. Most shirts in the closet are fitted with sleeves, the ones I prefer to wear simply lack sleeves. If I don't use ‘em, I don’t buy 'em.

The thing is, I bought you this, the sleeves are on steroids, I once worked in Germany in the winter so I know how cold it can get in northern Europe

In Germany it certainly can get cold, but in the Netherlands the climate is pretty much dominated by the Northsea. Temperatures normally don't get below -5 °C (23 °F). It can get as low as -15 °C (5 °F ), but that seldomly happens. We invented heating and winter coats (with sleeves).
