so: Of all the Duran Duran songs we've figured out, which do you like the most?

I agree with Hugorj, Taylor's work is different, and awesome. I cannot explain. It's possible to find reggae, funk, new wave, pop, pos punk, dance and rock in his tabs. I think that's one of the reasons why his job is so praised. It is impossible for a bassist not wonder some of his melodies.
I'm a fan of the band, so it's hard to choose a favorite tab. But I can choose some tabs that I never tire of reviewing and play,

A View To A Kill, Anyone Out There, Being Followed, Blame The Machines, Box Full O' Honey, Come Undone, Electric Barbarella, Falling Down, Girl Panic!, Girls On Film, Hold Back The Rain, Land, Like An Angel, Mediterranea, Nice, Ordinary World, Perfect Day, Pop Trash Movie, Sunrise, She's Too Much, The Edge Of America, The Last Chance On The Stairway, The Man Who Stole A Leopard, Too Late Marlene.

My answer is Love Voodoo. Does anyone know if this was a single?

No, it wasn't a single. “The Wedding Album” singles: Ordinary World, Come Undone, Too Much Information

I'm reading JT autobiography, you should to read too.

I have read and it's an excellent autobiography. I was glad to learn that he started playing a guitar with 5 strings (6 was too much for him). Many good explanations in this book.

I have new request, "Other People's Lives“, from All You Need Is Now album.

Requests:

”Michael, You've Got A Lot To Answer For“ (about Simon Lebon's friendship with Michael Hutchence of INXS)
”Other People's Lives"

On She's Too Much, you can make this bass line more interesting to play if you use a tremolo pedal, or even a delay pedal. Instead of straight eighth notes, you can use the repeats from the pedal to make a new sound. You can also do this with Do You Believe In Shame, but eighth notes work pretty well for this song.

I will listen to the requests. No sign of chipirock or the Sith of late? I am hoping Nihilus will tab Michael. (I listened once.)

Mari7, with my tab of Fallling Down, is there something wrong? It gets four stars. I will fix it if something is wrong. Thanks

No problems with your Falling Down tab, Sid, I gave 5 stars to it. And I remember that Hugorj did other version to your chorus, and I liked it also.
I'll play Love Voodoo in your honor, at this time.

I don't use pedals..
chipirock made many tabs here and then gone, I do not know why.
And our Sith friend should be on vacation in Tatooine, I think …

But Ezzo is missing for longer, you have news about him?

You can do interesting things with your music with some pedals.

True, no Ezzo in a long time. Don't know why. This thread has been pretty dead lately - dead, then a little activity, then dead - perhaps people are finding some DD information elsewhere?

I think this hypothesis is impossible. “ DD bass tabs” is the best community dedicated to the work of John, and more active, that I know, and I think it hardly die. The work done here is very cool and serious, something very consistent.
But I think this time of year people play less (Christmas and New Year), take a break and then return to their hobbies. I believe that, gradually, all persons will be back and make new requests or produce new tabs. This year in particular, that should come out a new album, whose songs will need tabs

Which pedal you recommend? I think John uses it on “come undone” live

I listened to a live in london performance - guitar is using a flanger but I don't hear any pedal with the bass.

What live performance do you mean? Post a link perhaps.
