The back and sides will be cherry mahogany stain and lacquer, flame maple veneer on top with cream binding, havent decided on the colour for the top. Piezo bridge, Wilkinson Stingray Humbucker at bridge and Wilkinson Jazz Pick up at the neck. Three volumes and one 5 way rotary tone preamp, all passive, no battery required

The back of the bass which will be cherry mahogany, SG style and the top will be something like the MusicMan Axis Sport in the picture, using flame maple veneer and cream binding

I'm not 100% happy with the neck, the main problem being using the router hand held. I've downloaded plans for a router table, free pdf, IamMark I suggest you do the same

I have one, but I rarely use it.

Although, from what I've seen from your posts and other sites that a good jig and router table is essential for shaping the back of the neck.

I'll definitely looking into this more before I start my next project.
