Anyway, just been watching Prometheus and got to thinkin, you being a film buff an all, here's a bit of useless info for you, Ridley Scott was born and raised in Stockton on Tees, County Durham which is eight miles from where I live, however, he went to college in my town, his first film, which he made at college is called ‘Boy and Bicycle’ and features his brother, Tony, riding a bike around my town in 1966.

….which is nice. It's on YouTube

That made me laugh out loud for real.

Cool piece of trivia there. I once had the opportunity to hang out with Doug Bradley (Pinhead from the Hellraiser movies), Reggie Bannister (from the Phantasm movies) and Vernon Wells (from Commando and The Road Warrior) when they were in town for a haunted house attraction and were kicking it at my step-dad's bar. My mom was there, had talked me up to them as being a massive horror fan who'd seen all their films (and she'd know, because she had to suffer through them when I watched them in my teens LOL). They told her to give me a call and have me come meet them. But the thought of hanging with these guys I'd idolized for years did a number on me and I totally chickened out.

Eighteen years later I'm still kicking myself in the ass for that.

Oh no! I'd be kicking myself aswell, just think what might have been. A similar thing happened to me, three years ago, me and the wife were in Sorrento, we were sat in the bar when this couple walked in, my chin hit the floor and I poured beer down my shirt, the wife said, “What the hell? I said, Jeremy Spencer has just walked in! ”Who?“ She said, (she's such a Phillistine). Jeremy Spencer was born in my town in the 40s, around about 66/67, Peter Green saw him play slide guitar at a gig in Surrey and after the gig, Peter went up to him and put his arms around his shoulders and said, ”You're coming with me“ thus completing the line up of Fleetwood Mac! And here he is in my hotel!! She told me to go talk to him a dozen times but every time I tried I froze up. When we got home I went online and brought an up to date photo of him and showed it to the missus, ”Oh my god, it's him!"
I did, however, spend a week in Jersey with The Krankies in 1971, but you would have to be British and of a certain age to know who they were lol

Yeah, a bit before my time. I wasn't even born until ‘71.

New submission: Tearing, by Rollins Band. Been working on this one off and on for a year but kept putting it on the back burner in favor of requests and other stuff. Finally got around to finishing it and I have to say, though I’ve not noticed much of a Rollins following here, I'm kind of proud of this one.
